*Good Faith Estimate Note for Fees: Per the No Surprises Act, please note that I am glad to verbally discuss my fee and negotiate that fee with you. I am always open to working on a sliding scale for financial hardship and allot a certain number of sessions to clients who need that. If I do not have that availability, I am glad to provide you with resources where you can find lower cost services. I will always offer the opportunity to discuss my fee and negotiate that before we meet for a session. I do not email or post my fees as this is negotiable. My rates are fair and within marketplace value. In the states of NY and CA, rates can vary for a 45 minute session based on a therapist's expertise and experience. The new law states the following: Health care providers (including psychotherapists) need to provide clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency psychotherapy services. You can ask any provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
